See our simple ways for you to check your Eye Dominance

Method 1

Extend one arm, then with both eyes open point with your index finger, or raise your thumb at a distant object. Then alternate closing each eye, then slowly draw the thumb/finger back to the head to determine which eye is viewing the object, this is your dominant eye.


Method 2

Extend both arms, brings both hands together to create a small opening, then with both eyes open views a distant object through the opening. Then alternate closing your eye or slowly draws opening back to the head to determine which eye is viewing the object, this is your dominant eye.   method2.jpg

Method 3

method3.jpg   Using a DVD, or card with a similar sized hole in, hold it with both hands, then raise the DVD with both hands, to view a distant object, then alternate closing, one or the other eye, whichever eye is still looking at the distant object, this is your dominant eye, alternatively, pull the DVD back to the eye that is still looking at the distant object, this is your dominant eye.
